We have an exciting opportunity to bring onboard a Human Resources Coordinator to provide HR support to all clinic locations. This position will deliver on the EVCHC mission statement by providing world-class HR service.
The human resources coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR team in supporting all EVCHC clinic locations. This position will deliver on the EVCHC mission statement by providing world-class HR service and system to the team. This position provides support in the following functional areas: personnel file maintenance, recruitment, safety programs/workers’ comp administration, policy implementation/review, HRIS maintenance and upgrades, equal employment opportunity/affirmative action program, and employment law compliance.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all EVCHC personnel; assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Operates, maintains, and advances the use of the HRIS system, employee personnel files, reports, and database.
Conducts recruitment effort for all nonexempt personnel, students, interns, and temporary employees; monitors career-pathing program and writes and places advertisements. Will assist with recruitment effort for exempt personnel as needed.
Serves on the Safety Committee and organizes monthly meetings and trainings. Conducts safety walkthroughs and makes suggestions to facilitate a safe environment, including but not limited to ergonomic assessments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of experience in customer service.
One to two years of experience in human resources or management procedure:
